Recent tv: Vinyl, Lucifer
Spoilers under the cut.
Vinyl is crazily over the top about the seventies music biz, and Bobby Cannavale is both magnetic and crazily good as a record company guy. Mick Jagger's son plays the singer in a band called the Nasty Bits. Oy. Worst band name ever?
I like the plot with the girl trying to get the Nasty Bits signed..she has seen the light.
The mob storyline can seem a bit Scorsese light.
Lucifer is vulnerable but is it only to Chloe? That might be a good twist.
Mazikeen showed her true very scary face. Nice bit.
The show seems to have a shot according to Tvbythenumbers..nice.
