Recent tv: Battle creek, Spartacus: Blood and sand, SVU

I'm pissed at CBS for cancelling Battle Creek and keeping CSI: Cyber. Cyber has its ridiculous premise and a frozen Patricia Arquette struggling to emote over the botox. Peter MacNicol who is a smart cookie is leaving. Rosanna Arquette guested and proved which sister who still can act.
Battle Creek has such lovely HoYay with Muss(thanks Trillingstar), but we get to keep Cyber?

Oh well..Spartacus is just great. Can't have too many half-naked gladiators fighting and enough undressed slave girls. Plus Xena gets to kiss another blonde. Bet she misses Gaby.
No the show doesn't do subtle, but my is John Hannah an entertaining villain. I never would have known. He and Xena rock. Plus Manu Bennett-ohh. He's just great and amazing.

The SVU diss at Stabler continues to make waves. Leight's fauxpolpogies don't much help.
Dude, don't mention him again, it's all for the best.

At least CBS cancelled Stalker which looked, from the ads, like total tortureporn. But I am also disturbed at the cancellation of BC and Muss - grin - !! I mean especially the last couple of eps, when things were really starting to get going between them, and I could see some sort of exasperated hate!sex developing that then led into Milt gloating and Russ, idk, busy sucking cock. Like once he started, he just couldn't stop. *happy sigh* And THEN! The very last bit?! With Russ freaking out and Milt teasing him and the shared laughter and Milt's hand cupping the back of Russ's head and Russ L-O-V-I-N-G it?! Ugh, fuck, feels! What the hell, CBS.

Frankly I'm almost a little surprised that Marish agreed to that dialogue, you know? Like they were supposedly besties for 12 years IRL and she produces the show now, doesn't she, and presumably has a bunch of sway over the show in general (maybe? not actually sure how these things work) -- and to be totally cool with just throwing Stabler and their partnership under the bus like that is COLD, yo. Ice cold.

It's possible that I'm projecting, here. ;)

Sigh-yes..the Muss was so nice. At least we have the fic. I really didn't like Russ-Holly..she was too young for him, the female boss was soo much better. Sigh.
Yeah, I don't know how she could say those lines..unless she thought they weren't a diss..but how? They so were. And like I said they were all about her, not poor Amaro who's like slightly handicapped and divorced and jobless after working with Liv. But hey-he's still family so yay. Bet that will pay the bills. Ha. Bad lines, no cookies for the writers.
Okay-guess I'm happy Stalker is gone.
