Recent tv: Forever, Sleepy Hollow and SVU

Forever was back with a great episode. We had William Baldwin as a very seedy businessman, Clarke Peters as an army buddy of Abe's. Hi Lester from The Wire. Henry dealing with taking a life caused him to bond with Jo nicely. Not feeling the romance, but the friendship is coming along nicely.

Oh SVU: We had Rollins drama and it was caused by her ex-creepy boss. Well it related to the case so I'll give them a pass on it. But poor, poor Amanda-gambling addiction, troublesome sister and she was raped in the past. Fin and Olivia were supportive at least.
Barba was back and kicked ass, creepy boss called him a "Spanish dandy." Well, yeah. And he kicked the boss's ass. He looked good in jogging gear, who does that?
Peter Gallagher's Dodds was a good cop here, so maybe I've misjudged him.
Next week we have more Barba and Carisi is back.

Sleepy Hollow was back. A creepy angel and Frank is sort of alive. Good. Katrina is still useless and Hawley and Jenny are doing what now?
At least Abbie is the voice of reason and Ichabod is hot.

Brothers in Arms
B/K WWII AU. Fantastic Toby, really clever take on Keller, Said and Hills in a all black soldier platoon (the writer did their homework). WWII AU with Schillinger in it so there is dark stuff happening (however Vern runs a POW camp NOT a concentration camp, thought I'd warn precisely about that).
I haven't finished it, got addicted but had to stop, but I love that it's so realistic for a fic, given that many gay men actually met in the army during WWII.

Oh hey. Thanks for the rec. Sounds great and Vern being in WWII sounds just about right. And yeah, I think many men must have met an fallen for each other like that.
