New shows: Shadowhunters, Shannara Chronicles

Slight spoilers under the cut.

Shadowhunters is soo bad. The actors barely know how to emote and they are all pretty mannequins with no charisma. Save Magnus Bane and Luke's actors. Plus it's all so generic and dull. Yeah, I know the books are like that too, but this is beyond dire. Clary's hair is orange.

Shannara looks very plastic but it has Manu Bennett as a hot druid so yay. They also manage to have James Remar, ahh now that's what charisma looks like. The leads are blander but okay.
I say it's a tentative win. Some femmeslash potential, a little dudeslash potential..
Haven't read the books.

I haven't finished the pilot of Shadowhunters, it was so bad to exist (i haven't read the books). Shannara is ok, i like Manu from when he was Crixus so i can give it a chance (but i hate the face of the main character, Sebastian from Carrie's diaries)

I feel you. The show was so, so bad. The books are kind of generic too, but has a cute gay couple as a side plot.
Oh I loved him as Crixus. He was so badass and sexy and whoa he showed a lot of skin. Yeah Sebastian from Carrie diaries is kinda just there being too stupid too live. I'll stick with Shannara a bit but Spartacus was way more fun to watch.
