Hap and Leonard series squee

Next week an adaptaion of Joe R Lansdale's material(6 eps?) premieres. It's about ex-con Hap and Vietnam vet Leonard. Hap is played by James Purefoy, known from "Rome" and "The Following". Leonard is played by Michael K Williams, Omar Little from the Wire.
They get into jams and have a bromance. This is why I squee. Oh and Leonard is gay.
I doubt we'll get a canon romance between them, but this is still very promising.
Christina Hendricks is on board to play femme fatale. I so want this to be good.
Advance reviews are good. I doubt Purefoy will get naked, but hey..
He has in the past. Sigh.
