Light spoilers under the cut.

What a lovely and intricate comedy this is. Kristen Bell plays a young woman who has died and gone to..The Good place. Silver fox Ted Danson plays its designer Michael.
He and Bell have a great report. She is charming despite being pretty horrible, and believes she is in the wrong place. The design of the show sort of reminds me of Pushing Daisies, and the moral is intriguingly complex. Plus it's very funny. I hope we get a second season.

I just binge-watched this show this past week and aaaaaah, I loved it so much! So clever and maybe not laugh-out-loud funny but wonderfully surreal and satirical. Just my thing.

Oh my and don't get me started on how weirdly attracted I am to silver fox Ted Danson. He never did anything for me when he was younger (I grew up watching Cheers) but now...hot damn. I may have to watch more of his more recent stuff.

I'm wondering what kind of crossovers would be fun in this universe...maybe Brimstone somehow, even if Michael told Elanor that the Christian faith only got "some" things right...I could just see Brimstone's devil dealing with the architects...hmmm...I may need to request that for some upcoming exchange or other this year.

Oh yes, it's so good. Danson was great in season 2 of Fargo recently. I may have watched s2 of the godawful CSI Cyber for him too, but it's not an experience I can recommend.

Oh crossovers would be so cool. Brimstone's suave Devil would have fun there.
