A walk through the clouds

So what music do you listen to when writing? If you write that is.
I could answer that with "it varies."
For Oz fic, there was a period when I had Lana Del Rey's "Ultraviolence" on repeat.
Or Nick Cave. He's good for Keller POV. I associate Keller so much with Cave's "I let love in" era. That obsessive nature, and the biblical allusions work a treat.
"Loverman" and "Red right hand" in particular.
Or anything Mark Lanegan. Oh that voice.
Johnny Cash is another fave.
The little-known but cool Aurelio Voltaire and Rasputina get a lot of play.
Most recent fave album is Curtis Harding's "Soul Power". Love it.
